On Thursday, June 20, 2019, I have the pleasure of presenting at the Writers Forum in Petaluma run by the incomparable Marlene Cullen. The event will be held at our wonderful local bookstore at Copperfield’s Books. Come and join in the fun and get ready to be inspired to write.

Episode 05 (11 March 18): Book Covers, Cuba, & Making a Difference
Michael Shapiro (A Sense of Place, National Geographic Traveler, the Washington Post) and I were guests on the second segment of Matthew Félix’s radio show talking about our recent travel to Cuba. We talked not only about our impressions of Cuba but how we tried to make a difference in some Cuban kids’ lives.

Titans of Travel at the Mill Valley Library
I’m looking forward to being a part of the Titans of Travel reading series, playing at 375 Throckmorton, in the Mill Valley Public Library’s Creekside Room. This free and fun event is on Wednesday evenings: September 24, October 8, and October 22, from 7 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Advance registration is recommended. I will be participating at the October 8 event.
Author Lisa Alpine hosts an ensemble of writers for this series of literary travel tales from around the globe. They will read and talk story from some of their best published works at each program.
